Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio has ventured into the smart tracker market with JioTag Go. A Bluetooth device similar to Apple’s AirTag but priced significantly cheaper. It is an imaginative gadget that assists people in finding their important things, including keys and pets.
In contrast to the AirTag, the JioTag is compatible with Android and functions in conjunction with Google’s Find My Device network. It has additional features and is very cheap compared to other tracking devices; thus, it is a worthy competitor.
What Is Jiotag Go, And How Does It Work?
JioTag Go is a tracking device that operates using Bluetooth technology, with the latest version being Bluetooth v5.3, for secure transmission of signals easily visible to Android devices.
It is compatible with Android-based smartphones enrolled in Google’s Find My Device platform, making it easy for users to locate their JioTag. The JioTag Go comes with coverage from across the world, thus enabling the user to locate lost possessions easily. In “Lost Mode,” the tag indicates.

JioTag Go works with a built-in replaceable CR2032 battery that is good for a year, with an additional battery included in the package. It also has a lanyard for the convenience of attachment and packs a 120 dB built-in speaker for locating items that have been tagged. Nonetheless, it can effortlessly pack a punch with its leading features while still being lightweight at only 77g.
It also has Unknown Tracker Alerts to maintain security. Interestingly, JioTag does not require a SIM card like Apple Air Tag.
